Last week when I arrived at work we had to wade through water to get to our offices. During this time of the year we have what you call lunar or moon tides. The tides are higher than normal and especially when there is a storm in the Atlantic. Here are some pictures of the next day, although the tide didn't get as high as the day before.
This is when the water receeded, this is still a little high at the boat ramp.

Well we finally got the drywall finished out in the Florida room. It actually has a coat of primer and paint on the walls. We have one more coat and then I can put the room back together and clean up. Boy what a dusty mess! Pictures soon.

Ok Casey, My update. We are working on our Florida room, (living room). Chris is working on a boat for a guy that does drywall. Well Chris tried his hand at drywalling and well it wasn't the greatest. So this guy is trading out labor with us. So my house is a total mess, with the room cleared out and a very dusty place. I'm working everyday, Camp is in its last session this summer. It really is kind of exciting seeing all these kids learning to sail, wind surf and scuba dive. Not much is going on in our life other than work and the house. All the animals are doing good with the exception of Junior. He has developed a horrible cough, I'm not sure they can do anything with him, they seem to think that it could be something to do with his heart and lungs. He is 15 1/2 years old. He has trouble with his hips but can still get out the pet door. Hopefully we can get up your way this year. Maybe around Christmas or right after. Keep Blogging!

On June 4th I started my journey to Atlanta to attend Ashley & David's wedding. After leaving at 2:00 am and driving through the keys to miami airport I got on a plane to Atlanta. Linda, Alan , and Lyndsey picked me up and we continued on to Gatlinberg. This is the site I saw when we arrived. What a beautiful place.

Well Chris and I had another anniversary! It was our 21st one. We didn't do much, just went out to dinner at Boondocks. It was nice, nothing fancy. Then it was home and in front of the TV for Chris and a good book for me. We sound like an old couple, don't we.

Today, it had to be at least 88 degrees. Yesterday I was at a party at the park, the weather had been cool 70-79, well yesterday when I got home the thermometer for the air conditioner said it was 90 degrees inside our home, well guess what, the a/c came on. Today I actually got some sun. We went to the pool, yes the water was a little cool, but I could get in up to my waist. Also I got a little sun. You guys going to Ashley's wedding can judge for yourselves!
Hey Tyler remember these guys, well they knock on my door and ask to be fed. These are the key deer. Aren't they cute!
